LIFE TAKES US IN UNEXPECTED JOURNEYS

Sometimes, to overcome the unexpected…

All you need is to love unconditionally your imperfect, perfect child.
His Broken Smile
The Only Thing Your Child Needs is You
Sometimes, to overcome the unexpected, all you need is to love unconditionally your imperfect, perfect child.
When Meirah’s son was born with a facial malformation, she was thrown into despair, guilt, fear, and confusion. However, she quickly realized that it was not about her. It was about her baby.
This is an honest, heartfelt, and inspiring story of a mother’s love, strength, and determination to be there for her child. Meirah’s raw account of her experiences and encouraging words guide the reader on a journey of love, acceptance, pain, and joy, as her family navigates the difficulties of caring for a child with special needs and finding the right medical treatment.
This book is for any parent who has ever felt overwhelmed, scared, or unsure of how to love their child through the unexpected. It’s a reminder that your child doesn’t require perfection only love.
Because your child is already perfect. They’re yours.
EXCERPT FROM THE BOOK

Having a baby especially one you desire very much is supposed to be a joyous, happy occasion, full of laughter and congratulations. One is hardly prepared to face an unexpected “condition” in your newborn, and it can be terrifying, heartbreaking, and lonely.
If you are reading this book and are going through something similar, let me just say this: It is okay to feel scared. It is okay to feel desperate. It is okay to feel sad, frustrated, guilty… You can fill in the blank with whatever you may be feeling right now, but please KNOW THIS: It doesn’t matter what it is. It doesn’t matter what the doctors say. IT IS STILL YOUR BABY, and all they really need is YOUR LOVE.
“You have within you the strength to help your child and carry on.”
MEET THE AUTHOR

Meirah Moskovitz
I’m Meirah: a mother, wife, entrepreneur, and woman of faith, blessed with love and family despite the struggles. A dear friend once told me, “G-d doesn’t send you challenges and save you to keep it to yourself.” For years, I set this story aside until I looked at my now 17 year old son, thriving and full of life, and thought: maybe someone needs to read this. So here I am, stepping out of my comfort zone to share our journey. I live with my family in Dallas and believe deeply in the power of love, acceptance, and faith to overcome life’s unexpected challenges.
STAY IN TOUCH
I’ve written this book many times before, then ignored it, rewritten it, and set it aside again.
I value my privacy deeply. But every time I look at my now 17 year old son, happy, thriving, and confident in how loved he is I feel a deep sense of guilt.
Not because of the past, but because I’ve kept this story to myself.
Maybe someone out there needs it.
Maybe you do.
“It doesn’t matter what the doctors say. It is still your baby, and all he or she really needs is your love.”
I invite you to sign up. I share a bi-monthly newsletter with reflections, experiences, anecdotes, and advice plus sneak peeks and release day updates.
From a once desperate mother, wanting to give you hope,

A MESSAGE FROM MEIRAH
(A note from one parent to another)
Your child might have a condition, but this does not have to define their life or yours.
We are most afraid of what we don’t understand. We work ourselves up into worrying and imagining all the negative scenarios without even learning first what we’re dealing with. This is human nature illogically, we tend to look for the negative.
However, in this case, we must become our own champion. We must always remain positive, and we must make a dedicated effort to gain knowledge about our baby’s condition, put it into perspective, and move forward.
